Colonel (Retired) Jim Creighton is the Chief Executive Officer for Eagle Point Global Solutions, LLC which is an organization dedicated to developing leadership skills and helping to resolve some of the world’s most difficult challenges. He has coordinated and executed high level discussions in Northern Iraq, Russia, China, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Turkey, Berlin, Belgium and many other locations. He aims to develop locally derived practical solutions to difficult problems. Jim was elected as the Supervisor of the Checklist in Antrim, NH. He also co-founded Ursa Major Northeast Guides to bring wilderness adventures and leadership experiences to veterans, youth, and others.
Jim and his wife Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Tamasine Wood-Creighton chose to settle in Antrim New Hampshire in 2015 after 30 years in the Army. New Hampshire’s independent and self-reliant people, healthy business environment, natural beauty, and Live Free or Die attitude were some of the attributes that led to what turned out to be a tremendous decision. Jim and Tamasine have two daughters, Dr. Brianna Creighton (31) a veterinarian practicing in Ashburn, VA and Chelsea Creighton (27) a travel specialist in Berlin, Germany.
Jim served as the Chief Operating Officer for the EastWest Institute for four years after he transitioned out of the Army. The EastWest Institute is a global not for profit organization with offices located in New York, Brussels, Moscow and Washington DC. The Institute is renowned for its world class ability to help solve the most complex global challenges using its extensive high-level network.
He retired as a Colonel from the United States Army where he held key command positions to include: Commander, Combined Team Uruzgan, Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan; Assistant Division Commander for Support, 2nd Infantry Division, Korea; and numerous command and staff positions in the 101st Airborne Division, Kentucky and 10th Mountain Division, New York and other organizations on four continents.
Jim was raised in Los Angeles California. Upon graduation from the United States Military Academy in 1982, he was commissioned as a Field Artillery officer. He has earned Masters Degrees from Central Michigan University, the Marine Corps University, and the National Defense University. He is a life time member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Colonel (Retired) Creighton is an adjunct professor at Bard College, New York and has lectured and participated in seminars at: Dartmouth College, New Hampshire; Harvard University, Boston; Columbia University, New York; Yale University, Connecticut; USMA, West Point, New York; New York University, New York; Korea University, Seoul South Korea; and numerous military leadership courses. He has been published in Foreign Policy Journal, The Diplomat, and the Field Artillery Journal.
Jim volunteers with the Crotched Mountain Ski Patrol and is a member of the Lion’s Club, the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is a member of The Greater Hillsborough Republican Committee and The Greater Wilton NH Republicans. Jim and Tammy run the Antrim youth tennis clinics and help high school students apply to West Point.
Jim is excited to use his extensive leadership experience, team building expertise, and problem-solving skills to help solve the most complex challenges facing New Hampshire.
